2026 Award for High Yielding Organic Rice Crop
Congratulations to Bill and Liz (pictured with Port of Melbourne staff, either side) on winning the award for his high
yielding organic rice crop. The organic crop yielding 10.3 tons per hectare, would be an Australian record for
organic rice, beating a percentage of conventional farmers where the ave yield is 11.3 tons per hectare across all
varieties.
